very important to clearly identify information needs of individuals and organisations invloded in Gender and Development before processing information services. |
Description
SANHITA, a new initiative by women activists of West
Bengal, is a Gender Resource Centre born out of a need for information activism and networking among grassroots organisations working towards empowerment of wome. For information, rightly disseminated, can be a very powerful tool for wmpowerment if it is clear, comprehensible, and highlighted in a way to bring out all angles of an issue in the field. |
